Boot lid seal channel

Post by Vic »

Hey Guys,

With the boot area being fixed up and repainted, I want to replace the channel where the rubber seal sits, below the rear screen. An attempt was done years ago to repair the rusted section with pieces but now I want the section replaced with a new panel.

Now I'm unsure whether the seal channel is a section of the rear seat support/ boot partition panel or of a window surround.

I'd appreciate any advice, cheers!

Vick

It is NLA, but the number is 41 32 1 847 425, nr 3 on the diagram.

I suggest cutting it out of a bewaker.

Hey all,

I'm still searching high and low for this part; the rear scuttle panel, which folds in from under the rear window and again folds below the boot lid, and seats the rubber seal in its channel. If anyone has an E21 which they're breaking/ chopping or have a spare piece lying around, please let me know, need it urgently so can finish the rear of the shell off. It's definitely nla from Bmw, so I'm just trying my luck :)

Thanks for any replies.
