Fuel Tanks

Post by Mitch888 »

My current E21 has small pin sized holes in the circle lip on the bottom of both tanks. As a result I have had to putty seal these holes in the meantime while looking for tanks to replace them. As a result I am currently on the search for a set of tanks. Could anyone be of any help?

If it is only in the lip, not past the weld that hold bottom and top together: I just welded that and had them powdercoated. Came out like new.

Thanks.
This has been something I have been considering.

Just stay away from the clearly visable weld around the tank. Than it will be ok.
