E21 production model information

Hey guys, is there any site where i can get information about the production of my E21?

I would like to know what extras that came, and some more info... is it possible?

Gou can obtain a certificte at bmw classic. It contains all data on your car, like datr if buid and where it is first delivered to, what options etcetera.

Correct, that is not available on line for our oldies. So as indicated you can request a vehicle certificate from BMW Classic, at a cost. However, tghen you get info and chassis nr, paint color and perhaps some other basics but as far as I know you won't get info on the original and complete options list anywhere. Well, at least, not from BMW. If your car is still equipped with its original interior and you are very, very lucky it might have its original production tag fitted underneath the rear seat. That contains a list of the original options and paint color. I'll try to post a sample here later today.

Example, contains VIN and option codes, for my car. Sadly I don't have a compete list of E21 codes

Talk nicely to any BMW dealer (the Parts guys at my local are really helpful, don't bother with Service or Sales). Give them the last 7 of your chassis number and they can print a build sheet for your car detailing the factory spec. I have done this many times and they have never made a charge.

And how much did they get about any E21? Curious to see an example as the local dealership can't come up with more than just a few basics, the basics you can also get realoem and the likes.
