Replacing Ignition Coil

I need to fit a new coil to the Baur as I think the existing one is faulty.
It's currently still on the original one, for an early m10 316.

I've had a replacement 2.0 m10 fitted with 170bhp.
Do I need a direct replacement coil or an uprated one? Or is there a better one you can recommend? Was just gonna pick one up off flea bay so will take any advice you can give

Grab a msd blaster II coil.
You have gone this far also get a mad 6al and a set of leads as well. You won't regret it
