I'm really, really tempted to put this lot in the bin, buy an aftermarket vacuum-assist servo and put it in the boot with the battery

It's a twin booster system. One for the front and one for the rear.

Have a look at the blue e21 build. (Mark?) He had a twin circuit remote booster. That fitted on the inner guard.

To make things even simpler just fit a later model firewall mount booster?
