Fuel lines pre-shaped?

Post by Vic »

Hey guys does anyone have an idea if the flow and return lines bought from Bmw dealer are pre shaped to fit direct or require bending? I know the length W and Nesch supply require bending, would prefer the pre-shaped.

The pipes in question are the two run together along the under chassis from engine to the pump at the rear.

All replies appreciated

Regards

Vick

If you order them from the dealer they come pre-formed, just like these:

I bought a set of fuel lines from the dealer, they come pre-shaped, fully formed. If you buy the brake pipe from the dealer it's straight, you have to form all the bends yourself.
If you want fuel lines, just but the ones in the ebay link, they are cheaper than going to the dealer. (I'm not the seller by the way)

Thank you so much Keith and Uwbuurman, your replies/ advice has solved the issue I had, as I had ordered from W&N a few months ago and as it had to be shaped, we ended up damaging them with an incorrect tool :hammer .

So really appreciate your input, and Keith, many thanks for sending the bay link, I have contacted the seller and it isn't too far from me either :boogie :boogie, cheers!!

This forum has always been the best resource for E21's, full stop :thumbsup
