Trying to understand compatibility and availability of brake master cyliners for my '81 323i
I understand from the ETK that the same unit was used on all e21s that year 315-323i. All the ones I can find on the well known internet auction site etc. look diferent to mine, so is there a diference between LHD and RHD?
Lastly where can I find one?

Lhd and rhd are different. The outlet ports are on opposite sides

Thanks for all replies.
I went for the new one, all the other hydraulics are new or refurb so it makes sense to me, besides, I had master failure on my first e21 and that was 30 years ago, back then a new ATE master cylinder from a specialist called Cooks Ferry Engineering was £70
