Post by Jay323i »

After joining a bunch of Dutch Message Boards, i thought it was time to join a international one.
I`m Jay, 27 (in 2 days), from Enschede, the east of the Netherlands, near the German border.
After a few BMW`s in the past i finally found what i always wanted!

It`s a `82 BMW E21 323I automatic.

*Polaris silber metallic
*restaured engine (with a SCHRICK 288 degree crank shaft included)
*restaured transmission
*16'' Alpina rims, the spare wheel too
*lowered 40mm
*Bonini exhaust
*Kamei front spoiler
*Zender side skirts
*E28 door handles

The only things what need attention are the front bumper, there`s a little dent in the middle, and the upholstery. Now i have the luxus bleu interior, but they installed speakers in the front doors and in the back. After the winter it will be all black leather, including black carpet and a black roof.
Here are some pic`s. Hope for a lot of posting pleasure!!!!!
Greetings
Jay,

the numbers must be in center of the wheel under center cap..I'm not sure. it looks like those are 7" wide like mine. mine et is 28 and I think that i will put 20mm spacers in every corner.

Hi jay323i, nice car mate, tell me the exhaust on your car, did it make a difference when you got it fitted, i.e. is the sound louder (heavier exhaust note) and did the car feel any faster i.e. (more HP)??

Cheers

WOW, looking great.
Great colour and a perfect fit with the Alpina's.
I'm not much of a fan of side skirts on the E21 but it actually doesn't look too shabby on this one 8)

@ALPINA;
The sound is al little louder, but it`s a very decent sound.. You just hear that typical BMW sound...... About the HP, i don`t know if it`s more because of the exhaust, it has more, but that`s because of the Schrick 288 crank shaft... about a small 160HP and a little under 200NM (been told)

@Jeroen;
Yeah, found this one too, it`s just a great e21 forum.... :D

At first really didn`t know what to do with the skirts, i wanted to take them of to make it back original, but now i`m used to them and i`m starting to like them!!!!!

I just realised the gauges are made by 'Motometer'. Is that because it's automatic?
