I installed it, but the steel one always from Wiechers, I did several upgrades at the same time and I can't indicate the improvement of the bar alone

Installed it on one car but did not notice much of a difference. Funny as a front strut brace really transforms the car.

I think a rear strut brace won't do much because at the rear there is no sido load on the struts when cornering.

Don't have any pics I'm afraid. The basic steel and aluminum ones on their website are clamped around the strut tower, they require drilling 2 holes and you have to remove both struts to fit them correctly. The one in the picture you posted seems to be a generic one, or also requires drilling as the spacing appears to be too small to use existing bolts.

I do know there are other strut braces that are fitted on top of the strut towers, using 2 of the 3 existing nuts on each side. These do not require drilling or strut removal.

Found this one from Classicdaily but it is discontinued, must still be others though

That looks easy to make, but what is its purpose?

Agree, unless you plan on tracking the car on a regular basis, I don't see many benefits. What might help, is the Racetep strut with battery relocation bracket, removing quite some weight in front of the front axle which helps improve weight distribution.
