So I have a simple, possibly obscure question--
I have a group of wires that come from the right side of the firewall (if you're facing the front/fan from the rear of the engine bay) and it's a green wire, black wire and brown wire of which are split off of each other.
I just replaced the distributor and ignition coil and can't figure out what these wires do. I've tried AI and it's given me anything from fuel and oil to ignition.
The green wire comes from inside of the firewall, the brown splits off and runs across the firewall down into the radiator area, and the black one also splits off and has a blade fitting on the end of it.
I've attached photos below via link to see if y'all can tell me what are these wires for so I can connect them to their proper place:

Additionally the black wire with the blade/spade terminal isn't connected to anything, but the green and brown are-- I have no idea what these wires are.
It's a 1983 320i with a M10.
