Hey guys, im in the middle of swapping a 1.8t from an audi a4 into my ‘83 320i. This swap will make A LOT more power than the original m10. Thus I will need bigger brakes. I see a lot of people arguing about the volvo caliper thing, and some other frankenstein mods. Is it possible to run an e30 stoptech kit on the e21 or am i mistaken. Im mostly just talking about front brakes, and i was just going to do a rear disk conversion and good pads lines and fluid. Thanks for the input!
Cheers!

Re: E21 braking solutions
Several threads on this topic here on the forum. My suggestion: get a Wilwood BBK for the front and upgrade the rears to E30 to give you a decent choice of pads. I'm quite happy with Ferodo DS2500 pads on most cars. E30 stuff and especially kits defo are not a straight fit on the E21 and you may run into issues finding matching discs, these are completely different.

io al posteriore ho montato dischi Golf 1, pinze Audi A3 con supporto auto costruito in alluminio, il freno a mano adesso è sulle pinze, ho usato anche un partitore di frenata per regolare la frenata posteriore che era risultata troppo efficace
