0-100 performance

Post by JoD »

Has anyone here done any performance testing in his 320iS. I did a 0-100 once with just a handheld chrono and looking on the dash: 8,4 seconds.
I now have a dritfbox (www.driftbox.com), but unfortunately the cigarette lighter in my car doesn't work (I really should change it) so the driftbox is useless for the moment.
I wasn't unhappy with 8,4. I think it could have gone quicker, but it's still quite some way off the official figure. Anyone measured his?

I got to 6.9 secs once using navi so 100 real kms. But people keep telling me my car is quite strong for a stock engine. Some nitpicking with the adjustments does help indeed and I've done some more since, should try that again...

A friend of mine in the passenger seat clocked 7.6 with a stopwatch...we think my car could do 7.3 because i had a bad start...
now i have 15'' alloys with Bridgestone RE720...i don't know if what i gain in grip i'll lose in accelerating
