My "Free" bimmer is finally coming around... pics

Wow, I have the fever, I know now why you guys love your E21's so much..

What neat little cars.. just beg to be driven.

I finally got the title on the "Free" 318i Euro straightened out, so I can drive it.. and now, I CAN'T QUIT!! I am just looking for excuses to drive this thing!

I fixed a little rust and dents..

Adjusted the valves (what a difference! doesn't sound like a diesel anymore)

Replaced the kidney grill, and have just been generally sorting bits out.

I LOVE THIS LITTLE CAR!!

Plus, I now have a grand total of $295 USD in it.. what's that, about 50 quid these days?? lol... well, 150, anyway...

Pics, plus my garage space:

:D

Thanks.

It's Thanksgiving in the States, a day to EAT too much and thank whatever power you thank, for the good things in your life... WELL, I am thanking for a warm garage to work in, and a wife that lets me have as many cars as I want! ( 6 as of today!, each a cheapie!!)

I was up until 3 AM last night, tinkering with the e21.. I can't decide whether to drive it cheap, or start sinking real money in it, to restore/modify it!!

I have seen SO many beautiful cars on this site, it is hard to not want to redo it all... but, for the moment, I think I will just tinker with it and have fun.. I found an errand to do a few minutes ago, and found out that it WILL run 100mph... Indeed a stout little 4 cylinder... can't imagine how nice it would be to have a later model Bimmer mill in it.. hmmmm...

How hard are these injected M10's to turbo charge???

FUN FUN..

thanks all for such a wonderful site, especially Jeroen!!
