Peter's 320iA/6

Post by Peter »

Hi E21 enthusiasts.

My name is Peter and I live in The Netherlands.

I'm new to the E21 scene.
Since march this year I own my first E21.

It's a 3/1980 facelift model in Safierblau metalic.
The previous owner took of the old carb and replaced it with a L-jet from an early E28 520i.
He also repainted the car and fitted -as we say in The Netherlands-Sjonnie 17" rims.

Options are:
- powersteering
- tinted green windows
- automatic
- original sunroof
- opening rear windows
- 13" cross-spoke alloys

I always liked the 70's and 80's BMW's.
I've owned many E30's, 316i, 318i Touring Edition, 320i Convertable, 325i.
My daily driver is a '89 316i.
Previous classics i've owned, E3 2500, E3 2800, E10 2002 Touring, E24 635CSi.

Like I mentioned, I've a lot to learn about the E21.
So don't ask me too many questions about E21, but please answer mine

Nils,

I like your mirrors.....mine were black, now they're greyish.

But,......I don't like the rims,...sorry.
Everyone is driving with those.

I'll keep the crosspokes or maybe i'll fit my Hartges.
My set Borbet A needs reconditioning and new tyres.
Once finished, they'll look great under my E30.
Then the Hartges can switch to my E21.

The E21 just had some maintenance.
I'll have to clean the enginebay a bit.
Then I'll shoot some more pictures of the engine and interior.
