In June 2007 I began to strip the car to make it "new". In september 2008 will be finish the paint job and than it will beginn to complete the car. At time i worked 950 hours with the car and parts.....

In the german forum of the Baur-TC-Club i administrate a thraed about the works on the car. Perhaps you will take a look, here's the link:

http://3er-foren.de/showthread.php?tid=7965

When i was finished with the car-work, than i will put new picture on this board.

This site i observed because "polardego" send me a link. Very nice board and so international........

Have a good time

Nice car man!
Actually, that's the first Baur I like... :?
Understeer is when you hit the wall with the front of the car. Oversteer is when you hit the wall with the rear of the car.
Horsepower is how fast you hit the wall. Torque is how far you take the wall with you.

Hello, the original colour call "brasilbraunmet." ....the BMW-paint-code is 154, now the respray is also an BMW-original-colour from the E21 in 1981; code 152 (zypressengrün).

We will see, when the job is done....... :D

Hey,

Looks indeed very nice. I have been following your restauration for some time. I'm currently restoring an E21 320/6 so it's a good learning school.

Nice that you signed yourself to this forumsite also.

Hey Stephan,

I will ask you when it's needed, don't worry.

And indeed I have a topic about it.

I'm not so far as you but I'll have the time.

Hey Stephan,

Nice to read that you already have worked almost a thousand hours. Keeps me going hahaha.

The colour of the car wil stay "polaris" as it is now. Otherwise i must change it also at the RDW in holland for the papers of the car.

But you will never know if my idea changes.

First I must find the adresses of companies which help me to galvanise the bolts etc.

And mayby I will also sandbeam ( wrong writing maybe) my car. This is not sure yet.

Greetings Peter V.
