Here is my pride :) E21 3.16( with the 3.18 engine like al the others i suposse) 1982. For 26 years it was my grandmother's car, the last 2 years its mine  It is still the original paint, and i think i looks verry good! I did some normal upgrades to keep the car running (ignition, cooling, sparkplugs, filters,...) I still have 1 problem check/http://www.bmwe21.net/forum/viewtopic.php?t=7004

I am still a student so don't have enough money to buy alpina's, take away the litlte rust here and there, problems for later when i have money :)

I really love the car, i am 18 years old so not many people of my age can say the have a car of +- 28 years old, the fuel cost's me a fortune but it's worth it :)

Looks very tidy from the photos .Makes a change to see the original wheels ,so Id say don,t worry about alpinas ,just spend your budget on keeping her in good condition ,that will earn more respect than fancy wheels any day .Reminds me of a white 316 i owned a few years ago .

nice ride :)

at 18 I also started with a 316 1.8 (e30 though) from a family friend (1st owner) still have it, 3 years by now

just look after it, keep it driving, and restore when the time (or rather money) is there :P
