i replaced my rear brakes, and the rear brake sensor. Does anything need to be done in order to turn off the light in my dash?

- I turn on the switch and let it for 4 mnts , and did nothing !!

- I took off the battery and did nothing !!

- I changed the sensor with another one , and did nothing .

when i connect the sensor , the light didn't go off but go weak and strong lighting , which let my Ac and ventilator fuse to be burned !!

I will go tomorrow to BMW agency to see ... but is there any one faced the same thing ?

Check the wiring that's entering the passengers compartment right next to the shifter, it is known to cause short circuits as the wire insulation starts to wear off...

Well , they used G1 machine , and they found nothing !! every thing in it place , but I opened to see the wiring that's entering the passengers compartment right next to the shifter ( just as how you said ) , well, there was an wire was uncovering and touch another one .. which caused all the problem .
