not sure bout his engine mount, i would of lengthened the braces to go each side of the nut, that steel could bend. prob wont as its pretty thick but still seems a little odd for what looks like a good job to not make it stronger

Well, i can tell you, the engine mount is strong enough. is made of 5mm thick steel with reinforcements inside.

is my own car by the way

just put the engine 2 inches more to the front, fitted better with my brakebooster

and made some new engine supports

That's great that it clears the servo, I was wondering about that on LHD cars. Great stuff 8)

damn things took revenge at me, some steelchips hit my eye.

some guy @ hospital drilled it out, so now my eye burns like hell.

next week it should be ok, than ill buy some safety goggles en pick up the grinder again

Ouch! I had a nasty 'grinder vs hand' incident a few years ago. Always wear my gloves now!
And i bet you wont forget your goggles

I did the exact same thing when chopping through an exhaust under an old RX7. Couldn't believe how much it hurt whenever I blinked!

to the hospital i drove with my head out of my car window, so my eye chilled down

strut bar can be straight now, engine is a lot lower because the inlet is between the engine

Just another weekend of hard word, and its running!!

Had to cut a lot of old cooling hoses to fix the cooling system.
but its running now. still have to fix the exhaust, shifting mechanism and driveline.
