Yes I did the converstion about two years ago at my old work. I work at a ford dealership and used mostly ford EFI componts for the Megasquirt.runs great a bit rich at idle but perfect under full throttle.

I put the turbo underneath but if i were to do it again it would go up top.

Image

You can see how tight it is i tack weled the turbo to the maniofold because it would walk and rub the frame rail.

Image

Image

Nice rust hole in the floor exhaust made from lincoln navigator tail pipe section and v8 explorer exhaust I found in the body shop scap pile.

Image

Fuel pressure regualtor and blow off valve throttle body from 4.6l Town car.

Image

IAC valve from town car not hooked up as you can see. it would open all the way at some times

I will try to get more photos if you are intrested but the car is covered in snow right now

Thanks The injectors are ford racing 42lb's aka green tops found on 5.4l supercharged lightning. I've been looking for seats for awhile now recaros or corbeau's. But first fix the flloors and some new carpet.

The seats are from a 85 maserati biturbo

Image

You know those 85 biturbo's are hot just look at that

A link to a good video of a biturbo thanks to Top Gear

BLOODY HELL, 42lb`s thats chucking fuel in the cylinders in bucket loads, i think thats abit much in my honest opinion, 19lb injectors are used in 325 when turboing in then rolling road to correct its fuel ratio... does it run rich all times?

Thats actualy what megasquirt says to use plus you can pulse with modulate the injectors to cut back current and control open times. but yes it is alot of fuel I had 35lb brown top from a xr4ti but the low impedence injectors were a pain.

Megamanual.com has a section on turbo charging it has alot of info.
