When I did the slugs pipes I put a flare on the end. It was and is a bastard to get on/off which is why I abandoned the trackday at Cadwell last year instead of trying to sort the leaking fuel pump O-ring at the circuit - takes ages to do and I had to take the seats out to get in the back to do it properly last time!

Just use a brake pipe flare, it's not as good a solution as the OEM type with a swage type bead firther down the pipe, but a flared end will keep the hose on.

Will there be big differences between the fuel lines on my 320/6 as they are now, to the fuel lines i will need to have when i eventually change out engine to a 325i?

Im gonna need to replace soon for MOT, so just thought if they needed any changes made to be compatible with new efi new system, best time is now.

Would you ever use s.steel braided hose, easier to fit?
