I'm assuming as it's a BMW the PCD is the same? Inspired choice.

UPDATE

Firstly I have changed my user name to something easier! theweekendhaslanded was a bit of a mouthful!

I have really been enjoying these last few months in the old girl, so far trouble free.

I have had the original steelies refubished, the process was bead blast, chemical clean and powder coat in metallic silver. The results are perfect, I have fitted new BMW badges to the centre chrome caps and cleaned them up a treat, the chrome bands have had a good clean and polish but I think I could do better.

New rubber has been installed too, a heroic 1970's size, 165/80/13  A nice set of branded tyres to go with the new rims. I really wanted a wider tyre (just for looks) as these 165 look a tad weedy but Im keeping it original so the skinney tyres it will have to be :? The car will never go around corners on rails (I have other cars to do that in) I just want a totally original car.

Have a look at the pics..............

The whole family went out in the car Friday just gone. My 6 month old boy enjoyed his outing looking at the smile on his face......this ones for Hannah reallyImage

I took the car back to the last owner and showed him the progression on the car, I took this pic outside the garage where the old girl had been stored for those 14 or so yearsImage

Next stop will be tracking/wheel alignment to get the steering wheel dead centre. Then the bodywork will be getting a full make over, engine out the lot! This may take place next year, not sure yet.

I hope you like the progression.
