excuse my ignorance, have a e21 and would like to lower the front. can i just put lowering springs on front only?
would 40mm be o.k (don't want to go too low, just want a nice stance) what make would recommend (lower price range)
thanks Andy

You certainly can. It might play a little bit of havoc with the handling though. I put a set of 40 mm lower Eibachs on the front of the 323i. Looked better, but I went out to a BMW Club track day and the back end was way looser.
Cheers

Getting a matched set would be best. However, if it's just for cruising, don't worry, just get whatever you like.
