Respray
Hi, have just got my car back after being resprayed and would like to know how long before i can wash and what should i use? How log before i can polish it? Is anyone into car detailing, thanks Andy
Re: Respray
should be ok to wash and polish it straight away.
mine was waxed by the bodyshop after painting to give it a
protective layer before i got it back

Re: Respray
Yeah they say a couple of weeks, but ovenbake and modern finishes. Should be fine. Why would you want to polish it? It will be freshly buffed and there is no need. Unless you want to do something similar to this guy.

Re: Respray
It was just dusty i didn't realise, it had a 100 mile journey home from paint shop, i gave it a quick wash and it looks good.arshad76 wrote:Yeah they say a couple of weeks, but ovenbake and modern finishes. Re: Respray
More pictures at this link, (hope it works)
Painting done at a garage in Bristol , came and collected car and delivered back and still worked cheaper than getting it done locally. Still have to get 2 more done this year, ae21 and a Pug205 gti. Thanks
