Sticking accelerator
Hi, started car up today after standing for months and the accelerator is sticking, whays the first thing i should be looking at, thanks
Re: Sticking accelerator
might be the cable, if you disconnect it at the throttle body/carb end and feed some engine oil down it, then work it up and down etc. also there a spindle thru the baulkhead that maybe stiff?

Re: Sticking accelerator
When I first drove the car with the weber, my accelerator was sticking several times as well.
Problem was solved for good with some WD40 on the weber at the choke puller (is that hte right english term?Sorry,if you don't understand I'll try to explain this better)
