Your car of course. However I'd say no. Colour coded bumpers can look ok IMHO as on jeremys m3 engined e21

I'd say that was a sad state of affairs Mark, except I've whipped my phone out at train stations in the past, just so I don't miss any of the goings on in the forume21-Mark wrote:Isn't Neeks car de-chromed?

Re: De-chroming...opinions..
In my defence, it was pouring with rain but I needed an e21 fix anyway, as I'm here in an e30.
Re: De-chroming...opinions..
I think de chroming on a light coloured cars look good, gives it a better contrast between panels and glass, looks different too.

Re: De-chroming...opinions..
I de-chromed the bumpers, originallybecause the chrome was stuffed, but i quiet like it now its done! I lightly sanded them with a 60 grit flap disc on a grinder to take the chrome down, then prepped them with etch primer to help paint adhesion. ive since blacked the side trim on the waistline , but i havent painted them just used black trim strip from halfords. Im going to leave the window surrounds I think.......
