Hi Fellows,
Let me introduce my E21, was bought just recently. :D The car was standing for years in a garage, so it needs a mechanical update ( and a lots of paperwork ), however, outside and inside looks very nice.
The chassis is a 316's, but everything was re-built with 323 parts ( engine, 5 speed gearbox, Recaros, etc. ) and specification. It has a lots of "usual" 323 extras: multispoke alloys, sportlenkrad, yellow Konis and sport springs, Sper differential, etc. Instead of the original K Jet, the gadget of a E30 was installed, and - mostly because of the big air filter - the battery was relocated into the trunk.
The rubbers should be replaced soon, also the whole muffler system. ( Wow, that's voice because of some tiny holes, maybe I need to leave it alone ) I am a bit sorry, that this is not a "pure" 323, :( but if I find a scrap one, I will be able to use these good parts.
Well, this will be a nice little project.
ooo, I seem to be clumsy with pictures, but I try hard... and come back later with pics[/list]

Welcome here!

Sounds to me -if the engine is a 2.3- that an E30 engine was installed, along with its L-Jet? Or is it a Motronic version? Then it might even be a 325i engine... with plenty more horses and torque!

Looking forward to seeing some pics!
Regards/groeten, Jeroen

Hi Jeroen,

This is a E21 2,3 L engine, only the L Jetronic comes from E30.
I do not know, whether these https working or not ?

Thanks for the positive remarks! :)
I really think that the outside of an E21 must stay as it was born. No other touches than an alloy wheel, lowering and white blinkers ( maybe black on a black car ? hmmmm ) look good on them.
