Thought I'd mention that I was really surprised that the Std E46 rear manifold cleared the steering column, shown in the last picture. Gives lots of room for the other branch to go the other side

Bit more progress to report.
Finally got around to fitting the solid steering linkage:

Also cut the front panel about to get clearance for the new radiator:


Also stripped out all the redundent wiring from the engine loom to keep it all tidy:

More progress should be made during this week.

Got some parts for jazzing up the S54 today, its gonna make a nice noise I think

But spot the mistake with the expensive F1 grade driveshafts

Yes they are different lengths and neither is correct, New ones are being made as we speak.

I cleaned the engine bay for you Mark. was mainly oily from the previous engine blow up

Driveshafts made up now.

Engines back in for the final time and more bits have been fitted.

Well I've given myself some targets for finishing this build.
Exhaust is booked in for 14th April
Mapping is booked in for 20th April
I'm hoping its all done and MOT'd before Bimmerflex on the 13th of May.
