Brake master cylinder

Post by Dan323i »

My car has just failed on a leaking master cylinder. Any idea where I can get one? Is it shared with any other BMWs such as an E30? Thanks in advance!

Yeah it will be, i've got one at the unit not doing anything but it's Nas's so you'll need to ask him for it. :)

Heck, I've just given the garage the OK to order a genuine one from Germany! Ah well.

New is always best anyway.

You'd think so – the garage got one sent over from Germany and it's no good! Been sat on the shelf for years presumably and the seals are all hardened and no longer seal properly. They've taken it apart, soaked all the bits in fluid overnight and reassembled it and it still is not working properly. Maybe I should drop your mate Nas a line...

No Problem. Glad it helped (almost).

I would have hoped they'd of sorted the kits by now, but at least they sorted it out when I contacted them..
