I can't stay behind now can I? My approach is that I consider myself an originality freak

but with clear limitations. Cars are there for driving, BMW's are sporty cars by nature and I like a sporty driving style as well. Which means that I demand a little bit more that a bone stock standard car... that's not about looks but about handling. That's why my cars all are upgraded when it comes to driveline and suspension. Not to extremes though, as I always try to find solutions that do not harm the initial design too much. So my cars are lowered, but not too much. My E21 went to bigger alloys, but no further than the 15" Alpina's which are a contemporary upgrade. And modifications I do, can always be undone to be able to get back to 100% original.
In practice, my 323i Baur. Original as can be when I bought her in Switzerland in 2009. Stock interior, standard suspension, BBS deep front spoiler.
special detail: original and unused 1981 spare wheel in the trunk
Nowadays: original sports seats fitted
Alpina B6 suspension so it doesn't sit too low at the front, 15" Alpina alloys, BBS front spoiler deleted
