Sticky Brake Pedal

Post by BAD323 »

Hi, My brake pedal wont return all the way up, I have to put my toes under the pedal to lift it, otherwise the brakes stay on and even then they wont fully release. My vacuum seems to be working well no brake fluid leaks, I have replaced pads, Rotors. The only thing is the car has been sitting around for 4 months. Hope to get some answers. Thanks,,,,,.

one of the pivots on the long rod from the pedal to the m/c had seized on mine, producing the same problem. strip and clean and grease sorted it

Thanks, I also walked around the car and felt each Rim and found that it was extra hot which I believe that the front drivers side caliper is also sticking. I will do what you said about the linkage and pull apart the Caliper. Many thanks ( BAD 323 )
