Converting my 323i to power steering and I have all the bits (I think) but I don't know how the reservoir for the fluid is mounted to the car, is there a bracket already there or do I need to transplant one?
Pics appreciated!

On the inner wing. Yes you have to drill two holes for that
but the offset of the welded brackets matches the shape of the wing.

Many thanks. Does anyone have dimensions or a template, or is the inner wing already marked with some dimples perhaps?

No markings and no template afaik, but with a water level on top of the tank it is quite easy to figure out where it should be, just clear of the fusebox cover.
