I really admire all the work that buddy of yours has put in to it. Although its not completely what im after, I must say that it really is something that you dojnt see everyday. It all looks like its done very professional!

Good luck on finding a good fuel pump, maybe some luck on a scrapper?

Cheers

Realnez: I going to say something, i´m sure that i speak for everyone in this forum saying this:

The body in your car its in excelent condition and it seems to be not very much modified.

why don´t you go for the original look?, its not very dificult to convert that car again into a classy and original car, and it will increase the value of it.

for example it will be very easy to change the front lights to original ones, and to paint the front grill black again. the rims seems to be very good and period correct for the car.

Guys what you think ? i´m right?

Yeah, although the car is different, i got to go with Sierpien on this one. Put it back a little more to stock and maybe get a slightly more period/BMW colour on it and you're off.

Interior is nice though.

yeah, ill crawl out of the woodwork and agree.
the work you have done looks second to none in quality, but i prefer the original look.
but, there is no accounting for taste,so if it is what you wanted to achieve, then id say you have done about as good a job as any of us could have done,so good work man! she's a beauty!

Realnez, im a little confused dude, are you seriously smoking some heavy crack pipe, you were driving a car looking like the other picture sent with raised suspension?? beach buggy style E21, all this hydrolic CRAP is good only if your drivng somewhere where theres rough road or dont want to get your car body wet and also when your doing work under the car otherwise all that shit is useless.... but good on ya to rip it out...

LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOL, sorry man but i find that hilarious, but do give you credit on the pimp my ride style, but you have to remember these E21`s are old and should be left his way, all this pimp my ride stuff are all colourfull with up to date technology and all inside the dashboard but the E21 is nothing but grey and dark inside the way that is...

i like the paint work thou.....

Sierpien, leave realnez alone  if they guy wants a BLING " Ali G" car, let him enjoy "AIIGHT" dude, get you car back to what an E21 looks like, youll love it more and forgods sake sort the handbrake out, its like your "autobling" saw a girl and said hello!!

Goodluck

That handbrake really made an impression on YOU Jimi!! :P

But, yeah, this car was always going to get a reaction on this forum. However, it doesnt seem to have been received as badly as one chap a long time ago who came on asking which Japo engine he should put into the mint-condition, one-owner e21 he just inherited from his uncle . I saw this thread the other day, but wanted to wait to see what others said before replying.

I generally don't like the style personally - a car to me is for driving enjoyment, not a four wheeled ghetto-blaster. Plus an old classic like an e21 shouldn't be chopped up in this way - there is simply more than enough newer (and arguably more disposable) cars to do this to, such as a Silvia as above, a Prelude, or a Pulsar (Nissan Sunny's in Europe). E21s are too rare and classy to do this too (I realise you got it this way Realnez, so no tough feelings). Also the raw old-school sports car style of an e21 (or BMWs inm general) is not suited to this type of whim.

But anyway, the actual job seems to be done well, and the interior is actually pretty cool if you like that style; and I also don't mind the paint job actually . But yeah, I agree with Sierpien that to go back to original would make a really great car, and would be really rewarding. An original old Bimmer like that would be much more unique than the bling-bling experience 8)

Yes, and maybe see to the handbrake :P

Cheers
Mathew
