Thanks Jeroen, yes it WILL be at Sharknose 2016, I'll probably bring it on a trailer, so it will definitely be there.
I'll be taking the shell and panels to the paint shop next weekend for the next stage and the special paint :whistle .

I keep saying to my dad "that will do, its only a race car", and he responds with "you need to do it justice with the amount you're spending on it, look at this bit, lets make that better".
TBH he is going to be playing with the final touches to the front wings this week without me, I'll just keep concentrating on the mechanical / performance bits and leave him to it.

As long as its ready for the paint shop on Saturday I don't mind.

:thumbsup for your dad!
Understeer is when you hit the wall with the front of the car. Oversteer is when you hit the wall with the rear of the car.
Horsepower is how fast you hit the wall. Torque is how far you take the wall with you.

Hi all,

Bit more progress, finally got the shell to the bodyshop.

Image
Image

Had to wait for this to be sent home as it takes up too much space :stupidme

Image

Bit of seam sealing and a factory style sealant over the underside.

Image
Image

And then some paint :bag

Then some lacquer, although it looks similar

And finally fitted some old temporary suspension.

Next up will be interior paint and lacquer then boot and engine bay.

Cheers

Ben
