Nice car, just curious the E28 5 series console you have there i originally had that fitted in my e21 back in 1989 loooks cool, there are switches, are they for the front windows? obvious guess as reason why i ask is because its far back rather being at the front say the side panels... nice car like it, one thing i would really like you to do for us E21 lovers (reference) is that the rear differential (diff) can you please take some pictures of it, as we would like to know what it looks like on your model..

Cheers!!

The center console is for an E21, but like the Hartge it's a "1 of ?" in the world. As far as I know, here in the States anyway, all the 5 series and up have the power seat switches in the center console which make it too wide for the E21. I learned that bit of info when I went looking for another after I cracked mine. Needless to say, I've since repaired mine and baby it.
The switches are for the MK Motorsport electric windows. That's where the factory stamped the console pop outs for the power window switches. Actually, it's not as awkward as it might look and it has an OEM look instead of an out of place aftermarket after thought.

Anything specific you'd like to see on my RD? Mine has a LSD 4:75 mated to the CR dogleg 5sp, but it's a H3 not the H3s in case that's the RD you wanted to see.

Thanks for all the compliments.

I understand back when the original owner ordered the car from Hartge, he wanted the low gearing for short course or mountain racing.
I put a video on YouTube showing the MPH vs RPM.

The engine/tranny/diff combination is really a smooth operation that's a blast to drive. I've seen many M3 and M5 drivers with a surprised look on their face.
