Springtime's Baur time...

Thought I'd drop a few pics of my Baur soon-to-be-restored-project into the forum. She's just rolled out from winter storage and will be used as a roadtripper the rest of the summer...



Planning on ripping out the existing interior and swapping it for an e30 leather setup. New steering wheel just arrived, I was originally going to transform the car into an Alpina replica, but have since fallen in love with the small-six engine note...

I agree with you there, feels real good too. But with any 30yr old car it looks a bit tired from certain angles- or maybe I'm just pecky- but I want her perfect.

Yeah! It was an experiment on my part, just to see how the colour tones would work on the eye, at first people say yuck but after it sinks in they like them

The car was featured in a Norwegian magazine a couple years back before I bought it, which sold me straight away being so young and naive. But I absolutely love it now! Heres a the article for those interested;

Yep, Baur's are really cool cars. Once I had a chance to drive 323i Baur and the feeling of driving open top E21 was great.
