Well there was this E30 Touring...

that had an M50 lump in...

BTW, the engine in front of it that looks like it's being bullied/eaten/sh#gged is a Pinto lump - gives you an idea of how large these frikkin' engines are..!

...which is going in here...

So I'll need one of these then!

Does anyone know for sure if the mounts will need to be fabricated of can off-the-shelf ones can be used, the E30 ones look close but won't know for sure until I start fitting the lump.

wizor tried to fit the s50 lump but had issues with servo coz its rhd

A MKI Golf GTI servo is needed to clear the inlet manifold (the E30 master cylinder fits straight in), and I'm modifying a E30 pedal box and linkage (more a mutant hybrid of the two) to fit.

Thats right with the golf e.t.c., but for the E30 owners its ok, theres clearance, but E21 its another story, still issues... so ive heard......
