I don't want to put Tommi out, he wants to work on his car too. I'm happy to buy all the bits needed though so that the work can be done. Tis a biatch that we can't work on the cars in the garage anymore though.
Think we're taking her on a road trip this weekend, brakes or no, to give her a much needed run.
Am low on money atm though and could do with car working so I can sell my Polo.
But hopefully it'll get sorted when Tommi has some spare (rare) time on his hands. I'd do it myself but am pretty sure I'd fail miserably!
But yes any help with whatever he needs etc...would be great guys :D

We took her on a small road trip to MK and she ran fine.
Have found some more problems to add to the 'to do/to buy' list though.

With bonnet needing fixing as it doesn't open properly, need to get a new kidney grill which is now dented (doh!) and something to do with an air filter...(?)
Brakes aren't as bad as they used to be so nothing too major there anymore I hope.
Rest is just bits to make her look better (more my area  )

i replaced the vacum servo pipe and that seemed to solve the catastophic loss of brakes.
me and ben then pressure bled the system and got a load of crap out of the NSR brake line.
brakes are really nice now.
next step is to get a K&N for the car,

Yup, need that K&N still, though am currently broke for the rest of the month so won't be able to buy anything she needs till the 21st when I get paid again.
She did ok on journey to Ace but need to get it kitted out now so it's ready for RTTS which is speedily creeping up!

Seems a shame to sell your e21 although I can understand your considering it - Can you not sell the Polo and use the cash to get the e21 up to scratch? A couple of hundred quid should give you all new brakes and rear shocks.
