Your restoration reminds me of all the time I spent on my 2002.

To add to the dilemma, I have plans to relocate permanently to Atlanta, but plans have been delayed due to the economic situation. The best scenario would probably be to ship it here, restore it, and then take it back when I relocate. However, import taxes here are very high, and I would not get reimbursed when I send it back.

I have to consider all options, but, in the meantime, I'll just repair a few mechanical issues and enjoy it. I will let you know what I finally decide.

YES.....it's realy funny to rebuilding the car :D :D :D ......in view days the car will stand on his (old) wheels.......than i will put in the engine :wink:

I'm hopefuly in next summer the TC1 will drive on roads

Hi,

in the last 2 weeks it was completed the axles and a "little bit" more. So yesterday i put in the engine and the manual-gearbox. At time the TC1 is standing on his own wheels :)

but today the engne is do not working....i have problems with the fuel; everthing works but the fuel don't pump in the injekion valve.......thats also the problem from yersterday, when the engine go off in work.....

The following days i have to repair my E36 an then in will go on at the TC 1.....

Hey Stephan,

is the fuelpump working, maybe a dum question, it maybe only circulate the fuel through the retour line and so does not generate enough pressure for the injectors.
