288 personally, especially if you have raised the compression. But, keeping the low down torque, split 274/288 would be better.

Sorry couple of more questions. Do the Valve Springs need to be changed or can stock ones be used. Also, is it a straight swap for the 885 cam.

but then with uprated valve springs comes stronger billet rockers....... hmmmm, ive seen a broken rocker first hand on standard engines at a drifting day. and ive changed a rocker on my old e30 touring with the head in place........ not fun!

stock 885 (325i) springs will be fine for both cams, id probably look at buying some new replacement ones if your old ones have seen 300,000km or something though. Yes, straight swap in.
