1982 beige 318i

Post by ac/dennis »

Hi,

Together with my dad, we bought another E-21. Its a beige 318i from may 1982.
The car has done about 177.000 km and technicaly is in a really good shape. The interior is in a real good shape too, the sky is still alomst completely white! The exterior needs a bit of attention, but no serious welding has to take place ;). All the known E21 weak spots are in good shape. It has a BBS front spoiler and an Alpina rear spoiler.
The MOT is taken care of next week, then we'll drive it for a couple of weeks, so we hopefully know what we have to change/repair this next winter.

Underneath some pics, more pics you can see here

Looks good. What's with the brown ring around the small headlights?

Nice car, congratulations!

Guess you will be busy coming winter

I would not especially go with the Hella double-headlight conversion, though. You could also buy single light grilles from Marktplaats or Ebay...?

Thanks for the replies.

I dont remember the exact colour, ill look it up. Bought it from marktplaats.nl indeed, the seller bought it for parts, but soon found out it was way to good to break it down.

I like the headlight kit thats on it, makes it look a bit different. Oh well, tim will tell!.

Dennis,

I'm still waiting on more pictures? :D engine compartment, trunk etc.

How is your 320/6? Did you get it running again, and is it true the MOT?

Cheers,

Ronaldo

It's been a long time since I heard that product name... I guess they don't sell it here anymore.
