There are some on this forum who believe them to be the work of the devil, they even brainwashed Simon into removing his and setting fire to them so they could never be used again.

I quite like them, and am proud of it.

Its the "old man" image of mudflaps I do like. My E30 has them all round.....

My E21? No, they would hit the road if I would fit them... it is that low...

Hi, back from a weeks holday in sunny Dorset. Car performed impeccably, no over heating issues etc, simply perfection, breezed down and toured around Dorset and Devon, did around 6 hundred miles.
Before driving home checked oil and water; oil level fine, used a bit of water it was at midway in resevoir so filled up to just under line.
She drives really well, can certainly hold her own against modern cars; managed just under 120mph and felt there was a bit more to go. Probably the only criticism I can think of is the suspension; it felt a bit rolly polly at very high speed, don,t get me wrong it was not a fault, I would assume thats why you younger dudes fit suspension upgrades and strut braces etc.
As to the mud flap issue; boy it really seems to have got to some of you! well how about this I,m thinking of fitting so of those lightning conductor strips to the rear, you now the ones I mean they are always to be seen on some old couples austin allegro, I,m going for the caravan club aesthetic rather than the carlos fandango billy boy look.
Let me know what you think.
