Nelson Piquet in the BMW M12/13 powered Brabham BT52
I started with photography at the age of 7. Being a car nut I went to races and took photos there at the age of 13, and at the age of 15 I made a careful start at more serious motorsport photography. Even nowadays I cover several motorsport events each year, mostly classic racing like the French Le Mans Classic and the German Oldtimer Grand Prix. But back then, around 1984 and 1985, I was already running around in F1 pit lanes still being a kid! Took some photos of legends of that day I am glad to share with you all! Pictures below taken at Zandvoort (Netherlands).
